Foundation Stage

In foundation we follow the same areas of learning as the rest of school, with the emphasis being on learning through play, both directed and free.

The classroom and large outside area are well resourced, stimulating and set up to promote purposeful play.

We encourage a parent partnership and welcome parental involvement in the classroom, particularly to share their interests, talents and faith. All parents are encouraged to stay with their children for a short weekly play session which enables them to become familiar with the Foundation curriculum and activities.
