Collective Acts of Worship

We hold a collective act of worship each day.  These may be whole school assemblies or in smaller groups.

Our assemblies often celebrate a particular festival or important event such as Harvest, Diwali, Easter or the birth of Guru Nanak.  Parents are invited to join us for these assemblies.

There are also regular 'sharing assemblies' for different year groups.  Parents are also welcome to join us for these to see what the children have been doing and learning in class.

Other assemblies may be to celebrate and reward good attendance, homework or other achievements of the children.

Parents do have the right to withdraw their child from collective acts of worship. We would encourage parents to experience an assembly before making any decision to withdraw their child. We are respectful of other faiths and those of no faith.
