Ethos
Shire Oak Primary School provides a nurturing and inclusive education for all, welcoming and respecting those of all faiths and beliefs and working in close conjunction with our parents and wider school community. Our work is underpinned by Christian values which will inform the leadership and development of the school.
Within a happy, safe and secure environment, we enable all children to develop to their full social, academic, creative and spiritual potential.
Aims

We encourage and expect high standards of behaviour and conduct from all members of our community and foster an atmosphere in which children co-operate and develop an understanding of right and wrong

We foster good manners, mutual respect and expect every member of our community to show care and consideration to the views, beliefs and cultures of others

We ensure that all teaching is of a high standard, enabling children to make good progress across the curriculum. We are therefore committed to the continuing professional development of all our staff, which will enhance the learning opportunities for our children
