School Uniform
|

|
|
Our school uniform is as follows:
-
Purple sweatshirt or cardigan
-
Grey or black skirts / trousers or shorts
-
White polo shirt
-
Dark coloured or white socks
-
Smart school black shoes or dark coloured trainers (Not White)
We insist that all children wear school uniform as this promotes our school identity, ensures everyone is equal and contributes to achieving high standards. If at any time there is a problem with your child wearing his or her school uniform, please can you contact the school to let us know the reason.
It is vital that all clothing is marked with your child's name.
Religious dress is permitted as long as it conforms to school colours and does not present a health and safety risk.
Jewellery
-
No jewellery should be worn in school
-
Plain studs are acceptable in pierced ears but children must be able to remove and insert them independently on PE days
-
We do encourage the wearing of watches. Again these will be removed during PE sessions |
PE Kit
 |
|
- White T-Shirt
- Dark coloured plain shorts
- A change of footwear
- Earrings and watches must be removed during PE sessions
- Year 5 / 6 will have one PE session a week outside. Therefore in autumn and spring term children will need plain tracksuit bottoms and a warm top

Charging
We do from time to time provide activities that are hard to fund from the general school budget, theatre in school, trips, music lessons and some clubs. For these activities we will often ask for a voluntary contribution from parents to cover the cost.
Cost should never be a barrier to participation in any of these activities. We have access to a trust fund to help out with any costs. Please feel free to talk to the Head Teacher, in confidence, should you require some help.
