Cook it Grow it

Shire Oak has been fortunate to be part of the Open Futures' cook it grow it film it and ask it project.

This fantastic project links the growing of food with the cooking of it.

Children are given opportunities to work with a member of RHS Harlow Carr and the Cook It Bus charity. Along side this is a film it project where children make video diaries of their work and share it on an online community.

To support the whole project is a Philosophy for schools element this is introduced in lessons to support children's thinking and aural contributions.
